I’m a licensed cosmetologist, my passion is hair. I wanted to try EPRES BOND REPAIR TREATMENT STARTER KIT. My hair type: 4A curly/lose coils, I have lightener and semi permanent hair color My scalp: seborrheic dermatitis (tends to get oily and dry, I guess you can say I have combination scalp) My first impression: easy directions to follow. Application was easy as well. Unscented. Felt like water after mixing vial solution with tap water. Spray bottle was perfect size and perfect amount of spritz amount vs getting your body wet. The spray focuses perfectly on the hair. Barely noticed it was oily until it was applied to my hair. Product itself: after applying, I left it on my hair longer than 10mins, roughly 30mins. Product cleanses well with shampoo and then I used my hydrating conditioner afterwards. My hair felt very soft after the first application. Four days later I washed my hair again and noticed my hair was still soft. The benefits of the treatment stayed in my hair even after first application. This treatment is definitely safe for curly hair. It didn’t weigh or change my hair. My curls were not chemically altered. Detangling my hair was a little easier than usual. The downside of this product was the application. I tend to be lazy when it comes to hair treatments. Maybe if it was a cream based it would be a lot quicker applying than spraying. I’ve always had very thin and fragile hair ,that breakages very easily , because of that and the fact that I love highlights and taking care of myself , I am always searching for the best beauty products in the industry. I applied it on dry hair , leave it for more than 10 minutes and then I wash it and style it as usual.It doesn’t have any scent , is easy to use and I’ll have more than enough for several treatments, since I have very thin and short hair .After using, this product my hair feels very soft and shiny . Ok, I was super excited to try this product… I would say I’m a bit of a bond repair junkie…My hair is dry, it’s damaged, I heat treat it…I do all the things and it’s a wonder it is still there for me punish.I have tried the other brands out there claiming all the things and have felt and seen mix reviews personally.This gives me a great basis to review this new product though.The first thing I will mention is the ease of use- I love that you spray this on and let it sit prior to washing. The bottle has the perfect long flow mist that evenly disperses the product.I tried this product several times and also did my same routine without using it in between to see if I could tell a difference.I definitely noticed a big difference in the shine and strength in my hair as well as less breakage than normal post styling.
